Our Story

Founded in 2004 by Mrs. Divya Sudheer, Alankrithi was among the first contemporary design studios in Kozhikode. Under her direction as Principal Designer, the firm has built a reputation for creating unconventional, timeless spaces.

Our design language is distinctly contemporary, favoring clean lines and minimal ornamentation. While we draw inspiration from classical french and spanish traditions, we reinterpret these influences through a modern lens. We craft integrated architectural environments by blending interiors and landscapes so that boundaries between inside and outside dissolve—creating harmonious, seamless spaces that feel both thoughtful and effortless.

Our Team

Divya Sudheer

Principal Designer and Founder

Over the past 22 years, Divya Sudheer has led her in‑house team in the design and execution of more than 100 architecture, interior, and landscape projects across Kerala and USA. Her portfolio spans multiple typologies—residential, hospitality, and commercial—each project reflecting meticulous design thinking, technical rigor, and a refined aesthetic.

Driven by a deep passion for architecture, interiors, and materiality, Divya has developed a signature style that combines elegant proportions, thoughtful use of fabrics and textures, and a restrained contemporary language. Her commitment to quality, craft, and client collaboration has established Alankrithi as a trusted name for beautiful, timeless design.

Goutham Sidharth

Principal Architect

Goutham Sidharth graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Manipal and completed his Master’s from Newschool Of Architecture, California. Since 2017 he has designed and executed multiple residential, commercial, and hospitality projects and serves as the Principal Architect at Alankrithi.

Goutham’s work is rooted in modern, contemporary sensibilities—clean geometry, restrained material palettes, and careful attention to proportion—yet always tempered by a deep understanding of how people inhabit and move through space. He prioritizes human-centric design: ergonomic flow, sensory comfort, and spatial sequences that foster connection and well‑being. His approach is intellectually rigorous and highly original, producing distinctive solutions that respond to context, program, and lifestyle rather than trends.

Sustainability and passive design are integral to his practice: daylighting, natural ventilation, thermal mass, shading strategies, and material choices are thoughtfully integrated to reduce energy use and enhance comfort. The result is minimal but impactful architecture—spaces pared down to essentials, layered with texture and detail, and designed to endure both functionally and aesthetically.
